I needed a wristlet that I could access my iPhone from without removing it from the bag so I created this bag with a clear vinyl pocket large enough for most smartphones. I can even use it with an Otterbox case on mine. I love being able to see my text messages and answering them quickly without removing the phone from my bag. I can also see who is calling me before deciding if I want to take the call right then. I hope this is something you can use as well. This would be a great gift for Mother's Day, Easter, Graduation, Birthdays, etc. It uses a small amount of cloth but delivers a useful item that can easily be personalized by choosing just the right fabric. Sewing ability: understanding darts and sewing a straight line are helpful skills with this pattern. Finished bag measures: 8 3/4" across bottom, 8 3/8" across top, 6 1/4" from top to bottom. Clear pocket measures 4" by 8 1/2" (pocket itself measures 5 1/8" x 8 1/2"). Inside is a padded main compartment along with 4 credit card pockets that can hold more than one card in each pocket and a double pocket on the other side. Handle strap measures 8".
